Since our founding in 1912, we have developed as a general hardware wholesaler in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is nationally renowned as a town of hardware and abacuses.

Banshu has such a long history that it is called a “metal forging town,” and has prospered as a town of swordsmiths since the days when it was ruled by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. We deal in a wide variety of products ranging from carpentry tools, garden utensils, household cutleries, and other hardware items, with a focus on such specialty hardware from the local Miki city and Ono city in Banshu.

“Keiten Aijin,” meaning “Revere Heaven, Love People” is Saigo Nanshu’s favorite quote.
“Every way is in heaven, earth, or nature. Humans, who act in these ways, should aim to revere heaven. Because heaven loves me and others equally, I will love others just as I love myself.”

With this philosophy of “Keiten,” or “Revere Heaven” in mind, I would like to manage the company with integrity so as not to disgrace Heaven, and I share the philosophy of “Aijin,” or “Love People,” believing that the true purpose of a company is to bring joy to the employees that make it up, and that is the most important thing of all.

Based on this belief, I commit to the management philosophy, which is, “We pursue the wellbeing of all employees both physically and spiritually, and contribute to the progress and development of society by providing high-quality products and services,” and continue to make sincere efforts to meet a wide range of needs from professional craftsmen to ordinary households by providing high-quality products and services while keeping the tradition going.
